It's his mind, my mind, and the marriage of the two. No grey, no infirmity, no condition, can ever take away the beauty of each other. I spent half my life in a gym trying to be worthy only to find that the love of my life found my mind, heard my heart, and thus captured my soul. I in him, and he in me. Kismet. Nourish the kinds of things that last far longer than the ignorant luxury it is to obsess over those of naught that will indeed pass away. Release each other to the beauty of imperfection. Sighs of happiness...

Oasis
A successful marriage isn't one that reaches the benchmarks so often put out there by society - the first house purchase, the first baby, the first job, then a pension that lasts forever. No, and no. LOVE and the kind of dividends that last for generations wisely understands that no two people ever experience a perfect timeline, but create their own palace even if it's within humble circumstances. Make your home an oasis, rejecting where life says you should be. It's your own Kingdom; make it so. BREATHING LOVE breathes abundance.
Control
This is profound and applicable in so many different ways - especially pertaining to marriage. Don't wait until you have more time together, health improves, finances are in order, or a certain task you requested is done to decide to feel peace or appreciation. If every single moment is maximized together and lived with appreciation, you will find the perfection in the circumstance with your spouse for always. It's truly not about "getting there"; it's about "being there."
Priority
Take a moment to ponder exactly where you place your spouse on your list of time and priorities. If they fall after work, children, bills, errands, groceries, etc., then reconsider the impact that has. Make your spouse first every time and the rest will not only be seen differently, but will lose their intense place of purchase and make for a gorgeous marriage every single day, no matter what.
Stability
It isn't income stability that makes a stable family; it isn't even being fabulous parents that makes a stable family; it's couples who deeply love each other, who build their relationship in honesty before God and place their own relationship as paramount to all. And then it doesn't matter what ins and outs of circumstance may come - when there is an unshakable foundation, everyone thrives for always.
